After completing an initial intake, your first session will entail further discussing the challenges that brought you to therapy, identifying your goals for treatment, and getting better acquainted with your therapist. Future sessions will involve collaborating with your therapist to explore your problems and learn skills necessary to overcome them.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes, BWI accepts insurance. Once determined to be covered by your insurance plan, services can be reimbursed through your insurance plan. If you do not have insurance or your insurance plan does not cover services, a self-pay option is available. If you are seeking reimbursement under your insurance plan’s out of network benefits, we can provide you with a receipt of services or superbill upon your request.
How often are therapy sessions and how long do they last?
Therapy sessions are scheduled either weekly or biweekly, depending on client needs and scheduling availability.
